So see you there … remember at Gate We Are A club!
Had an absolutely brilliant time at Modified Madness…especially the drifting experience! There was the real good company of the GTO club, our beautiful cars, all the noise and activity, drag racing and drifting, plenty of beer and hamburgers (food was hamburgers, hamburgers or hamburgers! except breakfast you could have a sausage and egg roll or bacon and egg roll). I loved all the different cars - I particularly liked the American muscle cars.
I’ve posted some photos on Flickr and a little video (I’m afraid I havent learned how to use the video recorder on my camera yet, that’s why its so short!). Here’s the link:
I’ve got a few club photos too … I’ll see if I can post them here…
well here are a few pics from modified madness,
it was a good show, with a wide range of cars and bikes, new and old.
the weather was perfect, if not a little to hot!
and the GTOUK dodgem contest was good on saturday night, especially as Malc decided to drive round backwards!!
the facilities could have been better, but everybody seemed to have a good weekend, so that’s the main thing.
**Bentley v Corvette **
Skyline drift van
**Ferrari 355, got easily beaten by a Bmw M5 on the strip **
Ray after his drift experience, being greeted by the GTOUK supporters.
all in all it was a very enjoyable weekend and had a good laugh with plenty of banter from all,
Well
it was indeed a hot one , me and most are now suffering sunburn despite the sun block ! What a wild selection of jap and non jap cars. And the sounds in some lol lol jesus! Ben would have loved the drag strip tailing off down hill lol brilliant.
And yeah that drift track was a fair size and an experience i don’t think i would have missed ( pity it was only me and Mandy that had the balls to do it!). But The Army guy that offered me the go-kart drifting challange i had to let go as it was getting near time to leave. But next year i’d go for it. In fact the Army were all cool on and off duty … even when 3 of us were kinda off bounds so to speak lol , but their showers were puka!
Anyway thanks to everyone that turned up and made it a good laugh, dodgems included!
hello was a great weekend i spoke to a few of you on saturday i was parked up a few cars away in my red gto with aftermarket spoiler gonna be more active on here now
Yes Mate i remember you , you said you was with another jap club i think from down that way?
But anyway thanks for comming up and saying hello nice to meet another red one! lol
I’ll be up for this next year, but with stickers all over the motor and with another motor club, if you know what i mean.
Some nice photo’s Martin
Also Ben would have loved the 1/4 mile it’s all down hill
