It’s not Wickford “town centre” :roll: but it’s still Wickford.

If you type in the postcode in google maps it comes up with “Wickford, Essex SS11 7QT” and the pub’s website states the adress as :

The Lodge Country Inn‎
Hayes Chase
Battlesbridge, Wickford, Essex, SS11 7QT

So yea, i’d call it Wickford

It was a nice evening with lovely weather and a good turnup of some interesting cars.

Good! Would be nice to have some more GTO’s at this meet, at the last ones there was only me and 1 other GTO, only that one has a Ferrari badge on it…

I have the same problem, been on a few PistonHead East Anglian coast runs (hoon’s) and I’m always the only GTO there…be good to have some company on one of them …who knows I might make it to one of the Essex meets, but it’s just a pain with it being a week day, same as the GTO Essex meet

a John, a friend from my work, but I haven’t seen his car in the flesh yet.

It didn’t seem wrong to me at all, the ferrari badge really suited the car…

I never said it was a Mitsubishi GTO with a ferrari badge, it was an actual Ferrari GTO (288 GTO, build from 1984 to 1985)
