My linked to images aren't showing

Where have I gone wrong? I wanted to show images but my message just shows the code tags & image url. Like this:

Are you linking direct to an image, or a page?

An image on flickr. I right clicked on the image on flickr and I could select its url.

Ah, thats the short link in Flickr - you will need the long one, there should be some HTML links available from the new interface

If you want to link direct to the image there is the the full URL in there, it will have something like ‘farm4.static.flickr.com… jpg’

Just copy and paste that one

The board doesnt like images that do not have .jpg after them!
