i have the pain full task of calling about for insurance but i have just noticed from direct line its said NCB 5years max!!
i called um and asked how many NCB i do have they told me 8 years but there system will stop counting after 9 years.
cause i was thinking about a secound car i asked if i could hold the 5 years NCB on car and put the rest onto a secound car and they said no. so then i asked what happens to my extra NCB? they said nothing you have the maximum of 5 years (i suppose its like an extra finger not neaded but there)
direct line quote is £563 + NCBP £86 leagal £22 rescue £126 and £18 garenteed hire car total £815 ish
any advice on cheap numbers for 30year old on drive with cat1 (tracker there but direct line not caring about that) and its a uk 99 doing 14k

is my own policy as a second car no commuting, car is also a uk car not a import but thats all im paying

Man I must live in a shiiiiiiiit area. no comments, but looking at the below I look like a C band??
my car isnt on road yet, but only place that would quote me was adrian flux, 3yrs ncb, tt import all mods declared(usual alloys, lowered, k&n, dumpvalve, custon paintwork) tpft £1050 and im 19yr old did ask me about previous vehicles and i told them about celica gt4 i had before. just said i would have to have a cat 1 alarm fitted. but i was well happy with that quote most insurance companys would only quote me on a 3000gt for between £1200 - 3000!!! but not an gto import most wanted me to be 21. Flux also said theyd give me a big discount for my second car as i was using all my no claims on gto. The bloke i spoke to said he was from the yelow deparment which specalise in jap imports and he was very helpful.
96 years old (not quite as old as Tony but you get the idea?) Fully comp, S, D & P plus to/from (commuting, not that I do), no mileage limit, full NCD, protected no claims and agreed valuation. Area E* Ensign policy through Sky, £340 last year.
