Hi @Paulw shame you couldn’t make it the weekend you missed a good meet as they always are

no slippage took place  ooh err . i filled in a nomination form the same as @gavin_naish and @Beanus both did then it was put to those present to elect , no committee member was involved in the vote to keep it impartial as in previous votes

Craig

ye, i wasn’t able to get the time off unfortunately. i’m only joking about slipping back in, i recall you were undecided last year. its good to have you back on the committee, now all you need is a GT/GTO ???

As for committee roles

Simon (@3000gt) is president & treasurer
Stevie (@stevie) is Vice President & Secretary & merchandise
Neil (@nas) is chairman
Steve (@butler) is committee member
Craig (@cdmh) is committee member
Gavin (@gavin_naish) is committee member
Andy (@beanus) is committee member

Other than the roles mentioned we are dividing things amongst our selves depending on who feels best able to perform certain tasks at the time and also it prevents committee members becoming bogged down with stuff when others might have little to do.

Hope this helps everyone

I want to thank everyone who voted for me to become part of the commitee, I was a little nervous standing in front of everyone plus I was a tiny bit tiddly and swaying. Lol

As promised I will be writing documents / worksheets for members who may not be too sure about some repairs of their vehicles. I will post up soon and ask what documents and videos they want to see.

I already have an idea for the first video which is brake caliper reconditioning as I know a few people have asked on the forum about it.

Plus the club benefits , we need a poll  we can have car of the month and a competition where you can own @Beanus for a month to work on your car , house or in your bedroom if that floats your boat

You sir would be 1/2 correct… An exhaust is something I’ve never fitted before. But I’m sure even I can do 2 bolts and some rubber hangers!

Not with your TIG welder you couldn’t

Would it be worthy of a video and write up, that’s the sort of thing that should be included.

unfortunately I could not attend the AGM but I thank everyone that voted to put me on the comittee.

I did, as requested, write a speech, which I understand the task was given to @Butler as @NAS chickened out to read but never made it for public viewing.

So I think it’s only fair that if you still want @Butler to read this out if we get say 10 or so likes, I’ll get it posted up :joy: and he can read it at the next meet.
