Good photo, welcome to the club
Just any top tips, stuff to look out for, best oil previous owner used Mobil
Southampton - not too far from me I’m over near Andover. I use 10w40 in my TT cars. Is your MK3 a twin Turbo?
James
Check for rust just behind the front wheels, along the seals and just in front of the rear wheels too, most common spots to rust through, oil is a tricky one - everyone will use a different type based on their own judgement I use petronas 5000s 5w30 (buy it in 20L drums for around £80 as all my cars use it)
Check the service history for when the last services were done - engine oil, coolant, gearbox and transfer box oil, brake fluid, etc - if in doubt change it also check when the last cambelt and tensioner change was done - belt can last longer but tensioner is a 5 year change
Welcome to the club and a great looking car
It’s a non turbo Japanese import
Sweat ride, love the colour.
Welcome to GTOUK Dan !
