A few months ago we lost 2 of our dogs within a week of each other. It was a very hard time for all of us. We decided to wait and see about getting a new pooch. It is my birthday today and my wife surprised us with bear.
Thanks for your comments.
He is settling in really well. Poop patrol seems to be my job, no one else wants to do it lol.
Lynnsey my wife would love a parrot, but i couldn’t handle the noise. When i am watching something if someone coughs i have to rewind it. But knowing her i will come home one day and find a pair of headphones on the side, and a bird aviary in the living room!

I lost my boy bracken last year, he was a German Shepard, only 7 years old and I lost him to cancer, was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through, I’m only 30 and don’t have any kids so he was everything to me, so I can just imagine how that must have been for you all
The new boy looks so cute and I’m sure it will ease the kids pain having him around
They will love growing up together… keep with the updates mate love to see them grow up. So cute (I’m in touch with my feminine side) right must get ready for work… now where did i put that dress.
It’s always horrible loosing dogs. They are family, sometimes even more loyal than family!!
I’ve nearly lost one of mine 4 times now due to accidents/surgeries/complications n every time she’s slightly off I fear the worst!
Glad to see you got new one though! I find having a dog is awesome therapy sometimes!
Puppy’s mum is a douge de bourdex (french mastiff)
And dad is a douge de bourdex x rottweiler.
The lady we got them from has mum dad and grandparents all kc registered except the x of course. They were all massive but really well tempered.
He is fitting in really well.
My mate has called his diesel. He has him at his garage all day with him. Popped down to see him today. He said it was pointless going in, he got no work done. Customers spent all day fussing diesel and talking to him lol
Beautiful mix there , when we went to the bording kennels after a holiday to pick up our first Rotti Tj we thought we could see him , as we got closer we realised obviously it wasn’t as this dog was much taller , he was a cross mastiff roti called George , spit of a roti but the build of a mastif .
Keep the pictures coming as he grows into those paws mate
Bear is doing really well. Asks to go outside for toilet. He still sleeps a lot of the day and moans a bit when we go up to bed, but he is great. If these paws are anything to go by at 9 weeks old, he might be quite big, so trying not to take him upstairs with us. I have to fight for my alotted space in bed as it is.
