Hello all, I’ve owned my GTO-TT nigh on 20 years now?, it’s been mothballed outside for the last 10 of those!.
My daughter keeps mentioning getting it back on the road so after we spent a year rebuilding and welding up our MK2 Golf 16vG60 (stood 17 years!) It was time to dig it out.
So far she’s given it a good clean, we have serviced the brakes together, tidied up rear subframe and got the old beast running again!.
I was a member of GTO-■■ and didn’t realise there was another forum on the go.
The TT is quite heavily modified but lucky being an old knacker I’ve managed to insure it for a reasonable price 
.
It’s booked in for MOT on 2nd September so wish us luck.
The Golf was rotten, the GTO is in amazing condition underneath which I wasn’t expecting!.
