His guys. Just purchased a 1994 GTO which has been in storage for 4 years. Needs some welding back left boot and fuel and brake pipes.
I’m sure I will have loads of questions!
I already have a 1990 300ce Mercedes, 2001 430CLK and 1972 Beetlw and the GTO was an impul’s buy!
I’m in Dunfermline, Scotland incase anyone is close and fancies laughing at my project.

Thanks Guys. I’m embarrassed to ask but what have I bought?!
I was told it’s a 1994 Non turbo GTO jap import…
Am I right that it’s a mk2 (due to the projector headlights) although the seller seemed to think it’s 4 wheel drive a 4 wheel steer… is that right - did non turbo cars come in 4wd?
Also what’s the difference between a 3000gt and GTO?
Regards
Scott

Don’t be embarrassed!
Honestly the best answer for yourself would be to read this
So You Want to Buy a GTO By Mark [GTO-MAS] This is not the ultimate buying guide, just a few pointers to help you in the right direction and hopefully to help eliminate any heartache and financial loss. This post is made up out of my own...
Est. reading time: 34 minutes
As most of the info is in there saves writing it all down here hope it helps, but never hesitate to ask

Thanks guys. Yes - got it from a recovery place in clackmannan. The chap had a silver one he sold and this was his next project but doesnt have time to start it.
Engine seems fine and very tidy / original but a gapping hole in the rear boot at the back corner.
Fun times ahead!
I was tempted with this myself…lol. Good find! Good luck with the work.
