Hello everyone, new to this whole forum thing, met some
of the members/owners today at JAE and what a very warm welcome it was! Even the wife was impressed 
decided whilst speaking to neil that the other club i was with just wasnt for me, i was the only gto owner and they werent very welcoming to non show n shine type cars 
its all about the scene for them! Anywho names ben, im from portsmouth been here all 27 years of my life and i own a mk1 red TT GTO import. Il post pics up when i can take some as the car hasn’t been back on the road long since being stood 13 years (ive had it a year now) and well, you know, driving its more important than pictures

Hi Ben, it was a pleasure meeting you and the missus. You really can’t go wrong here, the friendliness from everyone just draws you in, 
And me and a few of the others who went walkabout met some of the stuck up ones, even tho @ms8leach put them straight 
To me, this is the number 1 club and the members, ooer, are a great bunch of people!

Kelly really enjoyed being there once we bumped in to you lot lol usc was fun as we just kept ourselves to ourselves as we were kinda shunned away anyway haha im sure next time will be better if you crazy bunch are there too

@ms8leach we only went to midlands outlet as kelly needed some more makeup (silly woman!) 
we only used to go that far north to see family and shop for stupid yankee candles! 
Forgive me my memory isnt very good 
i was speaking to someone at jae about the speedo conversion he saod theres a link to what should be done on the dash cluster (a few diodes/jumper cable) i camt remember who it was and cant find a link, its bugging me as my car reads km and my odo clocks up real quick, now reading 92000km when it should be around 56/57000miles
