At the end of last year I bought a red 93 3000GT UK spec that has the GTOUK sticker on it. The numberplate is USY762. I found a picture of it on here but can’t find it now. It has been in an accident as the front end has been replaced but the guy I bought it off said it had never been in an accident. Wondering if any previous owner knows any history on the car?
I also own an NA Auto GTO which I saved from the scrape yard. It had been sitting for 8 years but me and my Dad managed to restore it. Removed nearly every metal object, blasted it and resprayed. Only drove it for about 2k miles last year.

Are you still in Ownership if this car? My Dad and Grandad owned this for many years as it sat on their driveway in Bolton unused.
I dont know the entire story but my Dad bought it from a friend after he’d borrowed it and crashed it back in the 90s/ early 2000s. Im sure he replaced the front end himself but I never saw the car being driven, just sat on the driveway all my life.
I wanted to restore it when I got older but never got the chance as my Grandad sold it on to someone, around 2011 maybe, who came knocking for a very low price. Im guessing this is who you may have bought it from. The car didnt run or drive at the time as far as i was aware and was rotting away on the driveway. If thr spoiler hasnt had any paintwork restoration/ been replaced I etched my initials “ZC” into it.
