well ewan we have the chatelherault show on the 17th if you fancy that one again and the scottish tuning show at knockhill on the 24th.
im down for fast and modified on the 20 th july and hopefully going to totb on the 27th of july with chris and simon(moral support )
scott
Wow Scott, your a mine of information…
20th July Fast and Modified
27th July TOTB
17th August Chatelherault Classic Car show
24th August Scottish Tuning Show
Sadly I can’t make Fast and Modified as I know you and Mark are going down… Where is TOTB? That might be an interesting event, but probably quite far for most…
I think I’ll go to Chatelherault again - do you have entry forms? I’ve not recieved anything in the post… I don’t think I can make the Scottish Tuning Show as it’s quite close to JAE!
Any thoughts/ ideas anyone?
Ewan
I’m heading to Crail this Sunday for another crack at the quarter if anyone else is about.
We got an indoor stand at the F&M show on 20 July so will be there as well.
Will also be up for whichever other date can get the most people available.
i should be about on sunday chris
getting the entries for chatlethault through, put your name down on the clan website
scott
Done. Will PM or call about Sunday. Same plan as last time probably. Simon is running at Knockhill.
Anyone else in for Crail on 06 July? I’ll start another thread on that if any interest.
Crail on Sunday sounds good… I’ll go for that
How did you get on the last time by the way?
Cheers
Ewan

Ok I’ve put my name down on the clan japan website…
It rained heavily in the morning. Was the first time I’d driven the car above 4psi [currently running 20psi] and it was real difficult not to spin 1st and 2nd. Had a couple of sketchy moments in 3rd when it hit some standing water.
Afternoon was better but we lost some track time with a minor electrical issue [■■■■■■ 15 year old wiring ;p]. It takes me a while to get used to stuff and need practice getting off the line so only managed a 12.5. This weekend will be better, specially if the rain holds off.
Put name on the Clan site too.

Wow, that’s quick! Scary with a 4wd wheel spin in the wet eh?
Hope to see your car go quicker at the weekend…
Ewan
nice one ewan see you there gto or vrs :?
GTO for Crail & GTO for chatelerhault!
It’s not so bad off the line when you’re expecting it but at close to 100 mph when what started as light drizzle has started hitting the windscreen like a downpour it feels a little sketchy. Had two terminal speeds over 120 so with some practice and a good launch should get a proper time.
Will catch you up there at the weekend.
What time are you guy’s going to be at Crail?
I can probably get there around 9.30-10am…
Cheers,
Ewan
get my text ewan well be there for 11 and hopefully chris gets near the 11’s.
scott
Unfortunately not this time… track was like a swimming pool and I couldn’t get the power down without all four wheels lighting up.
lighting up ,they didnt even touch the track it was that wet
youll get a dry day yet chris
Yeah, even if I have to take a weekend out and go to Santa Pod or something!
Thanks for the heads up yesterday on the bridge being clear, saved us a wee diversion to avoid the queues.
Hi Guy’s,
Sorry I couldn’t stay longer, It looked quite scary on the track  . I wouldn’t have liked driving on that! Well done for controlling that sideways action Chris… It didn’t take long to step out… Keep at it, I’m sure there are some quick times to come…
