Next Scottish Meeting Ideas?

27th is good for me and somewhere near Perth would be good for me too. How about we set the last sunday of a month a standing day for a meet? That way I can block book it at work.

just a suggestion  plus i dunno if they like autos on the rollers,i’d like to find out the power tho

27th is fine for me too  What’s wrong with autos on rollers? I can’t imagine there being any trouble, the wheels go round just like a manual. I guess you just hold a selected gear for the run and not put in drive :?

Perth / Pitlochry it is then???

Chooch

Great - that was easy!

Scoob where is your caravan site…its it easiest for us to meet you at Perth or on the way to Pitlochry…

Andy (and anbody else driving up or across) how about we meet at the Huntingtower Hotel…go left at the big roundabout just outside Perth, then its left onto Crief Road on your right hand side…

How about we aim to get there for 11am…then drive up to Pitlochry in convoy…

Aberdeen guys we could meet at the Asda carpark again at Portlethan at 9.30 ish?

Got your pm Mark - meeting point is fine with me. Is there a route to it via Cupar?

best going to the broxden roundabout and then down to the next one(cant mind the name) then head up the a9 to pitlochry and i could meet you i the layby just up from it.only takes me 30 mins to get to perth.

Looking forward to it…just hope my ■■■■■■ car passes the MOT…realised tonight that it expired yesterday!!!

Excellent, well Im sure we can bring along some sausages, chicken or whatever else we fancy watching you cook for us!!! Lets hope the weather is good…looking forward to it

Mark

I’d love to make an appearance, espesially since scot mentioned Kebabs.
But I’m off on holiday on the 26th :x
If theres gonna be sumthin else later in the year I’l defo go!

Looks like I’ll still be here in Canada on the 27th. Should be back soon after though. Sumiyaka are making some progress with my car so hope it won’t be too long before its back. It’s no small task they have getting it all together although they have the engine complete now and are just waiting for my FMIC to arrive so they can get the pipework made. I’m starting to get excited

Hopefully catch up with you guys soon.

Ally
Is everyone free on Sunday 27th May…options I think we have looked at so far is that Chooch, sspeiper myself, maybe Gump, GTO Ally and anybody else we find up here, drive down to Perth or Stirling area to meet the guys south of us…find a nice place to eat lunch and then do a drive around that area and beard stroke a little! Or we look into booking a rolling road session either in Edinburgh/Glasgow or Aberdeen…can’t remember where your suggested place was Andy?

I’ll sounds out Wallace and Jap Performance about availability and prices…Andy can you do the same please if you have a place in mind?

Mark
sorry mate im offshore this thurs coming :frowning:

ally ,pity your in canada as im in your home town inverurie for another few days working at buchan tech services
mo

Hopefully our plans for the 27th will still go as planned…but poor old Scott had his GTO on the back of a recovery wagon yesterday! He’ll keep us updated on repair progress!

Magoomba…will be good see you at some point this year, we seem to be aiming to do a meeting every month, usually the last Sunday so we will keep that going and get as many in as we can through 2007.

Ally - just you enjoy Canada while you can and keep earning enough dosh to satisfy the Sumi bill!!! looking forward to seeing your car though, sounds like its going to be a real beast. What are doing with all your old samco hoses etc that will be redundant with the FMIC?

Im still waiting to hear back from my local garage on the MOT result…CAT is in a plastic bag in the boot, the rear wiper decised not to work and the rear rack is still leaking a little fluid into the boots but not leaking out yet!!!

Stay in touch guys and we’ll aim for the 27th still!

Mark

just back from pitlochry and wont hear the damage till tommorow, but hopefully i get the car back on friday all going well :frowning: if not i’ll still be the chef for the weekend at least the barbecue wont break down
i’ll post up my woes in general :frowning:
