looking to buy my first GTO and have seen a 1991 3.0 non-turbo automatic. However, virtually every insurance company doesn’t recognise a non-turbo version… has anyone else had any trouble with this?

try sky insurance and if your club member you get a discount well worth the £30 joining fee

Most likely because they dont insure imports, UK versions were turbo only.
Try Sky insurance, they will sort you out with a competitive price.

…and mine. Sky insurance are quite cheap on imports. They were the cheapest we could find on my GTO and my wife’s Prelude (and that’s a UK model!).
