Starting the New Year as we mean to go on i will be trying to organise a Monthly meet starting on the 24th Jan!!

We had a meet back in november where only 3 cars came, this however turned out to be one of the best local meets i had organised as we went for a little road trip to a few of the local pubs!! :slight_smile:

moving on from this i plan to do something similar, turn up at “the Sheet Anchor” between 12.30pm and 1pm and move on @1pm following me to any random pub i can think of! there are lots of local pubs within a 10/15 mile radius so will not be too much extra driving so don’t turn up with an empty tank!! (fuel tank Rich not a “tank” :roll: )

“The Sheet Anchor” its a fairly large pub located 5 mins from J15 of the M6 on the A53 in a small village

Hi Guys.

I was wondering if you would mind me coming along to the meet on the 24th. I don’t yet own a GTO but I am serious about buying one and would love to chat over a pint about the do’s and don’t of spending my cash ?

Like I say on my profile I had the chance to buy a GTO around six years ago and didnt and regret it.

I am initially looking to spend around ÂŁ4K and do the mods etc myself.

I still plan to come down on Sunday and ask you guys for some tips and tricks about buying a GTO.

Can you please let me know if you still plan to be there at The Sheet Anchor at 12.30pm ?

I’m coming down to pick your brains really so if you guys want to get off on a run then let me know if you have some time for a chat , if not can I contact you over the phone and have a chat with a few of you instead. What ever is best for you guys ?

Ade you are more than welcome to turn up at any of the local meets for a chat. If you have the time I’m sure someone will even give you a lift from pub to pub :smiley:
