Just got quoted on my insurance with admiral - £507! That’s not bad at all.
I’m 25 with a 96 3000GT. 6 YNC and no convictions/claims etc.
Mind you, insurance is always a little less for me. I’m a copper so mentioning that I’m a trained response driver always goes down well and I get more money off - which is silly really cuz all the training means is that I’m able to drive faster! Sshhhhh, don’t tell them

Think being a UK car helps a lot more. Try the same quote for a JDM GTO. They quoted me silly money for my 1995 NA GTO.
Which division? Our paths may of crossed over the years …

C div, in Wiltshire (Based in Trowbridge actually)[/quote]
Then we’v never met.
Iv had a couple of stern talking to’s over the years from the Chippenham ant hill mob (I once got pulled for “accelerating too quickly” … even tho the cop agreed that I didnt break the speed limit… whats that all about?? I suspect that he just wanted to pull me over to have a look around the car for bald tyres and such … )
Most of the coppers Iv met have been fair and reasonable, the odd young pup can be a problem if he doesnt know the law and you do tho …
Used to work for British Transport Police (IT dept) many years ago … but thats about the only official work Iv done for the police.
C div covers Chippenham but I’ve spent my career in Trowbridge mainly. I’ll be taking the second stage of my Sergeants exam in November - If I pass this and then pass the boards I’ll be getting a few extra pence in the bank - which ultimately means more money to spend on my car - yippee
Do police officers fall under the high risk insurance group? If so, that is a good quote you got.
Good luck with your exams! you will definately need the extra pennies
