ooooh…
Will i have mine all sorted buy then me wonders ???
Need too find some spare bangers an mash so i can get car down too Ben and setup properly. Will see what i can do so i know if i just wasted all me money or not
Connie is going in for her op on the 19th and won’t be out in time, so we’ll have to catch up with you lot at the next one
To anyone who’s never been before - its worth coming down to have a look even if you don’t intend to run. It’s only a tenner to get in and you can always sign on and pay your £25 to run later in the day if you get the urge
Dave
Do you need a crash helmet/long sleeves or anything like that - is there a link to the rules?
Ah… found them…
RWYB Rules & Regulations
A full valid recognised driving licence is required to sign-on.
Seat belt is mandatory for your own safety.
Helmets required for all bikes and open top cars, and any vehicles doing 110 mph or more at the finish line. Arm straps required in open top cars.
Bikers have to wear crash helmet together with appropriate motorcycle riding apparel. One-piece or two-piece zip-together suits are recommended, made from suitable materials. You may be suspended from using the strip if you are not appropriately dressed. T-shirts and shorts are not safe items to wear on the track.
Before you go on to the track you need to visit the signing on office to sign a declaration form and pay your signing on fee.
No Passengers are allowed on the strip.
Myself & Tango are still planning on being there & also running
Julian.
What time is everyone getting there for?
I thought probably aim to be there for about 8.30ish to get signed on. As far as I know the track opens at 9.00 so gives us more chance to get some runs in.
Dan, are you making your own way down or joining our mini convoy down the A1?
Is everyone else OK with meeting at the McDonalds at Markham Moor at 7.00?
Dave
Do you think that is early enough, been talking to some other guys on a nos forum & they say they get down for around 7.30 ish to get into the line for signing on
Julian.
Can do if you like mate, say 6.00 at McDonalds and 7.30 at Pod then? The forecast is looking good at the moment so it may well be busy.
The thing with Pod is you never know how busy its gonna be, I’ve been in Jan and only had 7 runs yet I’ve been on a sunny weekend in April and managed 20 or more.
I don’t mind getting up early, the more runs the better as far as I’m concerned
Dave
I shall be coming up from North London, following a Stag do. Erm… I may be getting there a little later than you guys then… :?
6.00 am at Mc Donalds Markham Moor it is then I`ll make sure Richard gets up
Julian.
Hi Guys!
You will not be surprised that i will be chickening out of this!
Have a whole bunch of excuses which really add up to a fear of failure and an empty wallet for new tyres / gearbox rebuild / new clutch etc etc
See you soon and don’t forget to post the results!

Hi Keith, I ran a personal best of 12.7 @ 109.9 so really chuffed with that, as i have said before you don’t have to hammer your car to enjoy yourself, Richard ( Tango ) had his first ever run & after one couldn’t`t get him to stop he had the bug  We are off to Shakespeare in a couple of weeks you could always come along & watch.
Julian.
