This is just a taster for the Strut Brace the Evil Empire will be releasing in the next few weeks.

Unlike all the other Strut Braces you can get for the GTO/3000GT Platform.
This brace has NOT been designed as a nice Blingy show piece,
It has been properly designed and manufactured to give rigidity and torsional strength to the front on your car.
Fabricated from machined Aluminium and welded bar, this brace will not twist and bend like those available currently to us.
This Brace has been nearly 2 years in the designing stage and will look like the CAD render picture below.

The brace has been also designed to allow the removal of the plenum to allow the replacement of the rear spark plugs etc…
and will NOT touch/foul the bonnet in any manner unlike lots of others.

Because it is made from Aluminium, we will making them available in different Anodised colours.
Currently we are looking at RED and BLUE

THE FINISHED STRUT BRACE WILL LOOK LIKE THE BOTTOM RENDERED PICTURE

So we can gauge which colours we need to make available.

How much difference to these make to the handling of the car? Would they make much difference on a standard TT or are they just to provide strength for highly tuned engines?

The Brace has been designed to stiffen up the chassis on the front of the car.

The result will be better and more accurate steering, with better feel and feed back from the steering, something these car need badly.

Thanks for clearing that up. Now all we need is a price (red one please). As for fitting - is it straight forward? Where is the boost solenoid in your top picture? Will it go over/under these pipes?

I’ll stick in a tentative interest.

Its very dependant on price for me tho - better handeling is great but thats not my priority in what Im (ever soooooo slowly) building.

Not blue tho - Red or failing that just plain.
