Hi

After almost 10 years I’m finally getting my 3000GT back on the road again!

I’ve renewed my membership, despite being partway through the year, as this club was always welcoming and a great source of information. Looking forward to catching up with a few old faces I see are still here, and meeting some new ones!

I’m based near Gatwick, so firstly, does anyone know somewhere reasonably local that can properly diagnose the original ABS/SRS systems and read their fault codes? I’m also looking for a reliable go-to garage with genuine 3000GT/GTO experience.

I know Westfield Motors has been popular with members, but I’ve noticed on Companies House that the business changed ownership in November 2025. Does anyone know whether Ian and the experienced GTO technicians are still there, and whether the garage is still as good as it was?

I’m a little concerned about how few genuine specialists seem to be left!

Any recent first-hand experiences or recommendations would be very welcome. Maybe I’ll just do it all myself and it’ll be another 10 years before I’ve finished!

No one is touching my question regarding a garage recommendation with a barge pole then? :laughing:

Also sorry I can’t make Christmas dinner as I’m working and would’t get there until around 10pm if I came. Post the date nice and early for 2027 and I’ll book the day off!

Good to hear you’ve got your mind made up to sort your car out.As you said,the club forum is a great wealth of knowledge and information, with many questions answered over the years.But please be aware a lot of us are working so the forum at times can seem a bit slow.
