Cheers rob, next day delivery as promised, wonders will never cease, Thanks mate
Bits all turned up ok this morning Rob.
Sadly, the O2 sensor hasn’t fixed my fuel trim problem so I don’t really know what I’m going to do next…
apart from commit suicide …
or chuck the car off the Needles …

Hi Martin,
Sorry to hear that…
Give me a call and lets see where we can go from here with your car.
Cheers Rob
Is a fuel trim high or low really a problem? I’m sure most cars don’t have 100% fuel trims. If issues with fuel supply & air leaks have been resolved & the car runs fine with no knock etc. Then there is no issue just instrument calibration right?
Cheers,
Ewan
Point taken but I just thought 118% was a bit too high and all I’m trying to do is find out why it’s been that high so that I can learn more about how the car works. If the car needs 118% at idle and the ECU is supplying it then some would say that’s ok. But for me it’s all about trying to understand why things happen. I can’t help myself, I’m just a nosey git
Rob: let’s wait a while and see what happens. Logged it today and the trims seem to be going down - so fingers crossed …
PS sorry for hijacking this thread, I didn’t mean to - I meant to start a new one
