I’ve removed the rear steering rack as I’m not want to use it anymore,it didn’t leak at all and wasn’t in bad shape either the rubber gaiters are in excellent condition no cracking or anything,so I lightly restored it.
I’ve sanded it down to bare metal treated it with rust converter then zinc primed,stone chip and a few coats of laquer,it’s not pristine but it’s painted and treated so should last many more miles,I’ve also replaced the ball joints rubber boots as they weren’t in the best of shape starting to crack.replaced some clips with jubilee ones on the hoses.
I will include the longer lines aswell that go to the front currently on the car still.
As they are hard to come by in good nick and even to keep as spare for parts.
