Have a great day Marty.
Looking at all the hard work/money, you’ve put into getting a really fast car, then if the weather is right, I think it will be big smiles all around.
Sorry I can’t see myself being able to get there.
Wishing you, and all the others going a great day out, my son a I really like it there last year.
Del
good luck marty - what are the que’s like (compared to the plod) ,wont be able to make that one but hoping later on in the season
mike
ques werent too bad when i was last there (end of oct.) but the facilities, parking area and que area are ■■■■ compared to the pod, and the access road is a pot-holed gravel track!
sounds great - must be better than the pod tho ,iv only been once and spent the whole day queing up for 4 runs (did get a 14.7 so was well worth it  )
mike
I’ll be up there Marty.
Cheers,
Ben.
I’m there for the running.
Santa Pod to me, was a real waste of time, far to popular.
The access road isn’t really that bad at Shakespeare, and the rest is what you make of it.
The track is in good condition and you can get many runs in.
What more could you want?
Marty
Thats the issue with the pod, the queue times are horrendous and keeping the car to temp but without heat soaking the intake pipework is a PITA.
I wouldnt mind the pod if they took a bit more care over the organisation of stuff (like track recoverys which seem to take for ever, and prep etc) but every time i go i am spitting teeth as i push the car in more than a 1/4 mile of queue while they run up and down with the fire farce car. Then spend half an hour leaning on brooms!
Cheers,
Ben.
My car is no longer going to make it to this…
I will be there though, as I want to see Ben break into the 10’s

Cheers,
Ben.

I think we may have to award Ben the 1/4 mile trophy for this year as well as last at the AGM!!
I’ll let him put the numbers up
Marty
He has already won it!
Have a look in the 1/4 mile times gents.
I’ll post you a vid here in a sec!
Cheers,
Ben.
I mean for 2007/08 season.
I know he has already won it for 05/06 and 06/07
Marty

Mick has one thats a cracker of it!
Cheers,
Ben.
Did you run your motor on the rollers again? How did it do?
Mark
It was on twice actually.
I have left one chitty in the isuzu glovebox, its for 663bhp and 675ft/lbs, thats from Saturday at Weston Performance. To be fair i hadnt done that much since friday.

Crickey - and look at the queue!
If I wasn’t such a spass and could fit a gearbox I would have been there too. Well at least I know a man who can. Next time.
Looking forward to the other vid.
