OK guys and gals. i’m not usually known for my serious posts on here but this one comes from the heart and is a mixture of good and bad news.
I have for some time been contemplating going over to the “Dark-side” and becoming a TT owner. It’s been a bit of a wait because i have been looking preferably for a club members car to become available as it was my preference to find a car that was owned by a member of our fraternity and would end up with a car that had been looked after with all the love and care that our cars demand.
So, with my joy, but to a club members sadness, i have just arrived home after completing 255 miles in the gorgeous red 3000GT that for the past six years has been in the loving ownership of Ritchie (GTnewbie).
Ritchie has had to make, what to a lot of us, must be the worst decision anyone has ever had to make, that is to have been forced by circumstances to have to sell their pride and joy. A lot of you out there will be well aware of the circumstances that have put Ritchie in the position he has found himself in, and i do not wish to dwell on this.
I would like to go on record as saying that i am now the proud owner of a magnificent car which has been lovingly owned for the past six years by one of our own.
Ritchie—only i saw what you were going through as i drove away from your house this afternoon, but many others will feel what you were experiencing. I will look after your baby and keep in touch with you during which i’m sure will be trouble free motoring for me as it has been for you.
Many thanks for the hospitality you showed to myself and partner today, and our dog who also came along for the 510 mile round trip.
All the very best in your new venture in Africa and do sincerely hope it leads to better things for you.
very sad that rich has sold his car. i hope he continues to keep in touch and attends some meets .

ozzie and belinda , im glad you are happy with her , ive seen alot of sh~te over the last " more than i care to remember " years …sounds stupid and never thought id admit to this but had to go in the house when you drove away in my baby , heartbroken ! i just hope that one day soon anyone that works in TSB has a hedgehog as their morning ■■■■ and i really hope it hurts … i know my girl is with a good owner , doesnt stop it hurting me , even my mother was shocked and speechless …
ive had 6 great years with that car , you all that know me what i mean and im sure you will all welcome Ozzie into the "darkside " with open arms … look after her fella 
also … for anyone that hasnt met meeeester ozzie … what a really nice guy … knew how deep down i was feeling and really made it easy for me … thanks mate , your careful treading was a bonus … top guy

That is a stunning GT, lovely set of wheels too Sorry to hear you had to get rid Rich. You are one nice fella, hope you keep in touch with the club (I’m sure you will)

Rich, I’ve only met you breifly but I know you’ve been fighting this moment for a long time and it must have been so tough for you. I hope selling your pride and joy makes a big impact on whatever it is that you’re going through and you can hopefully come out the other side fighting. And who knows, you might be in posession of another one sooner than you think.
Ozzie, nice one!! That is one caring owner you’ve bought from, I’m sure it’s in very safe hands. Welcome to the silly costs club :roll:

Sorry to read that matey has had to let his car go as he well knows 
but congrats Ozzie that is a really tidy well looked after motor , if id have been in the position financially and space wise id have loved to of taken that car .

Lucky man I wanted this car also but he told me he was not selling it , enjoy it !

Thanks to one and all for the comments, i’m sure Ritchie knows that i’ll take care of her.
Expect that many of you will have sent pm’s to Ritchie to help him through what must have been a terrible decision to have had to make.
I know he won’t be leaving the club scene and i think that it’s time that i should put in an appearance at some of the meets----watch this space.
