I’m up for Crail on 28 October. Assuming everything goes to plan and I get the car back in the next couple of weeks.

ive got a turbo to change over before crail so hope it stays dry for a few weekends in the meantime , and hopefully i will have my polished rocker cover and plenum back to fit as well .
the only problem im having at the moment is the abs light stays on at times but if i drive through a puddle it goes out till the next time i start the car :lol: :lol:
heres hoping the sensors just need a clean.

Ummm sorta - the place that changed my alternator last month didn’t bother to take the radiator out to do the job properly. They managed to push the radiator against the bolt that sticks out a bit at the passenger side. And put a hole in it. :evil: I even told them to be careful. Now need to find time to pull the radiator and get it to a local welder to patch it. Topping up evertime I need to move my car. Lucky that my drive to work is only about 1.5 miles with new job. And the welder is just down the road from it.
Just thinking…John - you any good at welding aluminium?

cant help you with that right now andy , i dont have any alu wire or gas.
just have argon c02 mix and mild steel wire for mild steel welding
now if it was something out of mild steel like the floor or chassis i could have done that for you
should they not be fixing that for u if its there mistake in putting a hole in your radiator.

NP - was just a thought…had completley slipped my mind that you have most the gear! I think I need to pull my finger out and learn stuff like that…I know what I need to do to patch it myself - just don’t have the skill to do it!
And the garage is not taking any liability for it…saying they didn’t touch the radiator. :roll: They also managed to mark my paintwork on the rocker cover - so I can tell they have been less than gentle.

Don’t make offers like that, I might want to weld bits into my subrame if I can’t get a fitting out of the control valve for the RWS! :lol:

no probs ewan as long as its on a weekend as i dont have any holidays till christmas now ( did have 2 days left but i plugged it 2 days last week so had to use them )

Anyone know when Mark is around? I’m pretty sure he is in Kraplackistan or somewhere like that just now…not sure when (if) he is coming back. I’m guessing this is why he hasn’t been posting much!

I’ve e-mailed him on his work’s address last week and no response… I doubt their e-mail facilities are so good there!
