hi all

got my renewal notice from APlan, £480 that with1 accident and 6 points

(x2 sp30)told them i had second accident and 5 more points (cd 10)

was told they would get back to me which they did £1233.00

told them i would have to sell the car

rang about 4 more firms all the top ones from site

then postman bring letter from Liverpool Victoria phoned them and they

say £1150, can’t afford that i say, we will transfare you to AQuote

08003894346. guy called simon bird, he say £590 but boss says do a

deal at £490 I push all the money at him over the phone before he

changes his mind and i am left a very happy bunny :lol: :lol: :lol: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops:

however if you see a light at the end of the tunnel , just hope its not a train on fire :
my alternator went 2 days ago which is going to cost just about what i saved on the insurance :?

what went wrong on alternator?

mine died a little while bac,k, about 70 quid in parts for rectifier and regulator, overhauled it myself

not sure yet, but the guy reckons he can get it re-conned no probs.
parts labour etc. and an mot check should eat the 200 nicely.
but hell , its friday :smiley:
