Why that Simon, doesn’t it get forwarded on?

It does get forwarded on,

but now the post office only deliver once a day at about 11:00 no one is ever there to sign for it

So it gets returned back to the main area sorting office, and I can only pick it up between 9:00 - 12:00 8)

So unless I pop down every saturday and wait in the queue with everyone picking up their ebay and amazon parcels

It will be returned

Simon

wheres my mug lol :stuck_out_tongue:

Simon have we had this cash?

Mug in the post tomorrow if confirmed.

Thats brilliant fella, and i cant answer for him…yes  lol

still waiting :?

Interested to know where applications should be sent if the P.O.Box is no good - that’s the address given on
http://www.gtouk.org.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10373
My reason is that it’s of no help directing people wishing to join to the above page if the address is no good.

Well, you wouldn’t normally send a membership application by recorded delivery would you? So, it’s not really a problem… most people wouldn’t send cash through the post.

I hadn’t taken on board that Recorded Delivery was the problem. Perhaps the application form should explain that it may delay applications because of the delivery difficulties.
It can’t do much for the club’s image when a new applicant follows the instructions and then has to wait, not only for his/her membership, but for the return of payment so that it can be sent again.

The reason for my interest in this is that, yes, I would need to send by recorded delivery.
Apparently I’m one of the few people in the country whose bank account does not provide a chequebook so in the absence of a convenient way of paying, such as Paypal, I would send even Postal Orders by Recorded Delivery.
