Wow im gob smacked, I am after buying a TT next year and I thought I would just see out of interest what it would be to insure it, as at the moment im on my boyfriends traders policy so my N/A is only insured third party.
So I told him I have passed my test for 7 years and have always been on my boyfriends insurance, and I thought he was going to come back with a quote of £1500 - £2000.00, as im only 26 and want insurance on my own.
and he came back with £795.00 fully comp, he said is that too much, I said no thats brill, lol
So I want a TT now, but it looks like I will still have to wait till next year but at least I know I can afford the insurance.
I don’t think I even need to bother calling anyone else.
Never say the deal is good enough Should have said I got a quote from elephant for £725, then when you take it out anyway if they don’t drop the price say you noticed Elephants was more excess or something
However, as I’ve been with Adrian Flux for the last 3-years I thought I’d give Sky a whirl particularly as both Sky and Flux offer a Guarantee to Beat Policy. Anyway to cut a long story short…Sky’s guarantee to Beat stopped when we got down to £311 Fully Comp/Declared BodyKit/10-years Protected NCD…so yet again Adrian Flux got the business. My slightly senior years ( ) may have something to do with the very low price!
One final note…Sky (Scott) sent me a £20 voucher today and a guarantee to be more competitive next time…we’ll see?!?
I dealt with Scott too, he sounds really nice and helpful, Im going to call hiim to see if he can beat our lorry insurance and limo insurance when there due as they seem to do lots of insurance.
and I wouldnt say you was old, just older than me, LOL
Maybe my insurance will be that cheap in 20 years time, LOL

Let’s call it 16-years…don’t forget you only saw me from a distance and my ever expansive forehead probably caught the sunlight blinding you from being able to accurately estimate my age?#$!?!#?$

LOL I was only joking Neil, your not old, I dont even no how old you are anyway
When I was shopping around for a quote early this year, the TT was cheaper to insure than the NA? Something to do with NA’s being imports and TT’s being UK cars?
I’ll be giving Sky a call before my policy is up, that’s for sure!
I dealt with Scott, he was ideal, just what you want when sorting out your insurance. And isn’t it great when you can phone up a place more than once and speak to the same person, not feel like you’re starting from scratch again with a new person - I hate that… good example - BT…
