I’ve been wanting one of these for a very long time, but haven’t been in a position to buy one. One sale fell through earlier in the year. Maybe for the best as I now own Jensen’s GTO. Could see he was sad to part ways with it. Great guy and he’ll be sending me some bits including window regulator and prop shaft bearings as it has a knock on accel/decel.
Another issue was a clutch fluid leak which I have traced to one of the clutch dampers. Will be bypassing that hornets nest of lines with a direct line from master to slave.
One wheel is damaged so I am hoping to buy a replacement soon.
Just ordered a timing belt kit. Although it’s covered around 4,000 miles, the belt is 10 years old.
A few little bits to sort out which I will tackle in the new year such as active aero and LCD heater display not working and a few other bits.
Thanks to Jensen, I’m very happy to finally own a TT and knowing all the work that has been done on this I feel I’ve picked a good one.
