Well we haven’t had one for a while so does anyone fancy a South West meet? Was thinking perhaps the first Sunday in March (2/3/08).
Where would everyone like to meet?

Saw your car at Sumiyaka a few weeks back - you’ve not been using it as a getaway car again have you :lol: :?: If my other half is busy on the day and can’t come I can pick you up if you like?
Janey - Grampound is in Cornwall, nr. St Awful. A bit far, but the food is well worth it 8) .
Depending on time etc I mightb e able to make this one. We have a match on that day so would need to be back in Wellington by 1pm so if its early enough I can pop over and say hello at least.

Ok, the meet is a month away, how about this?
Meet at Exeter Services (M5 J30) around 11.00am, then onwards to the Highwaymans’ Haunt in Chudleigh for around 12ish?
Or should we try somewhere different?
Ok, i’m going to ring the Highwayman later in the week and book a table for 8-10 people, anyone else interested?
i’ll check with the better half, see if we can make that one, anything to escape the inlaws

Because i’m actually quite thick and don’t really bother with stuff like birthdays/special days, I totally forgot that the 2nd of March is Mothering Sunday. Unfortunately this means the Highwayman is fully booked :roll: :lol: .
Has anyone got any other suggestions? I know of at least two decent pubs down here (The Halfway House between Bodmin/Liskeard & The Dolphin in Grampound) but does anyone have any other suggestions?

As I mentioned I have football in the afternoon so if its local to me then I can make it until about 12.30. Cornwall is a bit far to get there and back in time.
Our last game is on the 9th so after that any weekend is pretty much ok.
Sorry don’t think I can make it now got a lot on this week, hoping to see a friend on Sunday too. Cornwall would be too far for the day for me.
