South West meet

Hi all,

Starting the first south west meet for a while, I suggest the last weekend in Feb, I will not have my gto back on the road by then but would be great to catch up with everyone.

I suggest this for the first venue, but I am happy to change this monthly for future meets.

They have a nice carvery or feel free to pop along for a drink. They have a good sized car park at the back of the pub.

I suggest Feb 23rd at 2:00pm, so we can get some daylight to look at the cars.

I’m hoping for so dry weather so I can clean my car before this meet !!! otherwise I’ll be coming along without a polish or hoover and it will be a bit more RAT LOOK than anything else !!??!!

I’ll be along for Lunch as I’ll more than likely have a hangover that Sunday

I’ll be coming up the M4 from Cardiff and coming off at Jnc 17 so if anyone wants to meet up on the way that be good

The car has had a hoover I can’t see it getting polished !!

Thank you all for a lovely afternoon out. Brilliant to meet some faces I’ve not before and to see other more familiar faces sorry I had to cut it short due to the pets!!
Massive thank you for the new stereo too can’t wait to finally get my sound system up and running fully!!

Thanks for everyone for popping along, I was surprised on how many people turned up for the time of the year. Looking forward to the next one (hopefully in a gto). I will upload the images when I find out where Sam has hidden the camera

Cheers for the invite NAS, it was a good laugh.

It was nice to meet the other owners and have a chat about a few things regarding the cars, especially finding out where the wiring harness routes through the bulkhead.

No problems with the stereo Butler, it was the one already installed when I bought the car. I replaced it with a double din and really just couldn’t be bothered to EBAY it, hope it gets your system working again.

I said I was only going to keep mine as standard but looking at the other cars I have certainly been looking at upgrades (Damn you all!).
