Start Button

Start Button.

I am trying to install a start button, i got as far as installing the button on the ash tray.

I have taken of the surround on the steering coloum. we put a amp tester on to find the constant 12v but with no luck.

Has anyone installed a start button? i would like some advise on what wire to splice into i have a 1992 twin turbo.

i have, im assuming you have found the connector for the ignition switch? think its blue, then basically you need to:

snip the yellow and black wire

Splice into the big red wire

connect both to your switch

You could just splice into the yel/blk wire and keep your key start too :slight_smile:
