The forum all works great for me now after recent issues but the ‘‘anything else’’ and ‘‘wanted’’ sections dont load or take forever…anyone else having the same? :?

Must be just you and me then Vikky-but i can’t get into General discussion or the Lounge(bloody typical, the two most used sections)
I can get into them in a roundabout way but as soon as i have read one post and hit the return key it brings up a page of “jumble”
I have re-saved the index.php to see if that will kick your proxy servers into updating as the file date has changed.

Just tried again Mark, still the same “file download” box for General discussion and Lounge sections.
I really can’t see how i can get into everything else except these 2 :evil: :evil:

Mark, it can take a few days for some isp’s servers to update 
I do think however this is a isp problem and not a GTOUK problem.

I know it can take a few days but this has been nearly a week.
What a caching proxy server does is issue a command to see last modified date of the requested file, if it is same as the one they have in cache they give you that instead to save downloading it again. I was hoping that changing the file date on the file would cause the proxy to reget the file from the server, but this doesn’t seemed to have happend. This should happen instant, I was hoping there cache would get flushed after a few days and it would solve it, but it hasn’t.
