Suggestions for pre 25 years old insurance please :)

Hey guys and gals, after recently graduating at Leeds uni (Automotive Engineering) and finally moving out of the highest risk insurance group area in Leeds (to the middle of nowhere in Somerset!), i have decided to branch out and pick up a GTO (fingers crossed waiting for p/x go ahead for my CBR 600).

Ive read a few of the forumns and Sky seems to be the way forward for insurance for me (if they can beat the £1400ish that elephant quoted me), but can anyone recommend a few other insurers who will most likely insure me as a 23 year old. Thanks :slight_smile:

With a bit of luck in a few days i will be the proud owner of a:
GTO Twin Turbo 1990
No mods (that i know of)

If i do manage to secure the car, im sure i can spare a few £pennies to join your awesome club. You have already dragged me out of the pit of dispare i found myself in when i first looked for insurance and got nothing but, “SORRY WE CANNOT INSURE YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR AGE”. So much appreciated :smiley:

Sorry just cottoned onto the insurance database youve got going, very helpful, but any other suggestions would be welcome.

sky’s the way to go mate they did it for me!

My mate at work is 23 and could only get insured on his RX7 by Adrian Flux, no-one else would touch him. Even then I think his quote was ~£1600!

I’m 23 and have a mk2 tt with no mods and the good people at sky insured me when all others were unreasonable.

Yep, Sky did me a good deal too… being a member of GTOUK helps with the premium too :wink:

Great thanks for the replys guys, I agree Sky has been the most reasonable so far, and i will be joining GTOUK if the sale goes through :slight_smile:
