TEIN Springs Issue

Hi folks, any help here appreciated.

I have a 90 twin turbo. I recently bought Tein 35mm lowering springs.
The 2 back ones went in fine and fit fine.

The 2 front ones don’t fit correctly, it’s almost like there’s a small gap at the top causing them to move and clunk.

Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have any solution?
(The springs are the correct ones for the model, and they are in the right way up)

Thanks very much!

I had exactly the same problem. The way I fixed it was to go back to standard set up. My daughter has a Juke with Tein springs and they keep clicking in a certain lock. Instead she is going for coil overs.

So you went back to standard springs? :see_no_evil:

Yeah back to standard, but I’m going to get Tein coilovers when I save up.
The car imo did look better lower but the noise turning the wheels did my head in.

Hi Jason,

Welcome to GTOUK :+1:

Just a gentle reminder the newbie section is for posting an introduction and of course pictures of your new ride

Technical sections and fixes for these issues are only available to fully signed up members- you can purchase this from the club shop.

Therefore I’m going to close this thread.

Cheers,
