Well when talks of the Kent meet came about, GTOUK as a club offered too fund the meet dependent on numbers etc. Interest grew too such an extent we ended up with 50 people at the Kent BBQ this month.
I supplied the club with all the receipts for expenses and without any Q’s they forwarded on a cheque within 2 days to reimburse the costs (which were near enough £100 more than planned).
So anyone not sure what you get for your 40 squids…you get a club the supports and looks after its members ALWAYS.
I have to say a great effort all round for this event, well worth the club supporting as it can get bigger if need be. Glad to see my forty quid going somewhere I can see value, top club top folks top marks.
This is what the club is about, i’m so glad it went well and everyone had a good time.
I hope this encourages others to take on similar ventures in other parts of the country.
Well done Elton and thank you on behalf of the club for taking the time to organise it all. Gatherings like this don’t just happen and i’m sure that Elton must have spent a considerable time getting everything arranged.
All we need now is a better climate so people aren’t afraid of arranging anything too far in advance. :lol: :lol:
