The GTOUK Annual Social Meeting & AGM 18 April 2009

Well I know it’s a long way off, but I now have both the rooms and Tickets available for the The GTOUK Annual Social Meeting & AGM on the 18 April 2009

The meet’n’greet event will start at 11am and run throughout the day with the AGM starting at 1pm

Open to all Full Members 2008/2009.

ALL Members attending the AGM, will be given a pass to allow some free drinks on the Boat Trip

We are holding the AGM at the

From the M4 exit at Junction 11. Take the third exit off the roundabout signposted to Reading Town Centre.

Continue over the next 3 roundabouts. After passing B&Q and McDonalds on your left,

Continue over the traffic lights and turn left signposted to Green Park. Continue over the set of traffic lights,
100 Longwater Avenue, is the first building on the left hand side.

London Heathrow is approx 30 minutes and London Gatwick approx 1 hr 20 mins by car

when booking you will need to quote a booking reference “GTO” to get the special rates of

The special rate is per room for 2 people including breakfast.
these are available in either Twin or Double rooms

no more will be available as the group Rate

Take A33 to Reading. Drive for approximately 2 miles, over various
roundabouts, and join the inner distribution road (IDR),

take the underpass signposted for Caversham and Henley.

Continue for three quarters of a mile in left hand lane.

At the next roundabout, bear left, continuing along Caversham Road to the next roundabout

(you will now see the hotel). Turn left, then right after the pedestrian crossing to enter the hotel car park

The evening event will be a river boat cruise on the River Thames,
the boat will leave the Hotel at 18:45 and includes a buffet,

It will have a Gangster and Molls theme so feel free to dress up.

On returning Residents of the Crowne Plaza can be served in the Residents bar

The club will be paying for the Boat and entertainment

Tickets purchased before the 31 January 2009 will be £15 per person including the buffet for direct family or Partners of Full Members and £20 for Friends

Absolutely cracking weekend!

Really enjoyed ourselves last year. All the events that we have been to have been great, but this was THE best event that Lel & I have so far attended. (even though we forgot our blow up parrots) Great laugh and even better company. :wink:

We also thought the breakfast was the worst excuse for food we had ever come accross :shock: We may give the Holiday Inn a try :roll:

Of all the days in the year - We fly to Fiji on this date so wont be coming so will have to waite until 2010!!!

We have just had such a great time at the Christmas do I really can’t pass this one by. When do we have to pay by? and let me get this right :oops: for the two of us it works out at £15 each plus the hotel for the night!
