This months Essex Meet 31st March 2009

This is the longest running, and most well attend GTO/3000GT monthly meet in the history of GTO UK. And as we seem to have more cars attend this monthly meet than any other show most years , apart from JAE, i have no decided to call each months meet a car show…lol

Members have travelled considerable distances to go to this meet and are welcomed with open arms too….Dave Bates travels 250 miles round trip each month to attend this meet…

You will find a vast collect of cars from totally standard to highly modified cars and everything in between. Loads to look at and also loads of information to be learnt too.

We normally have between 25 and 35 cars each month with some other makes turning up too, mostly highly modified too.

Hot food is available from a simple snack to a proper meal in the restaurant.

Upon arriving at the Haywain please proceed to the very end of the access road and turn left, You will find everybody in this area of the car park where you will find loads of parking spaces.
We tested the car park out last month where we had 31 cars turn up.
Please be aware that there are speed bumps as you cross the car park.

This venue is just one junction further towards Basildon than the last meet was.

Ooops didn’t look properly - 8:30 I see.

I should be there either in Jo’s GTO or will have to come in either vectra or astra van :frowning: will bring them headlight washer bottles with me as well for you Rob

Sorry, not going to make it this time. :cry: GTO’s still at the garage

Thanks for referring me to the ECU doc Rob. What a really nice guy he is and, though he had to fix my ecu twice (would happen to me!) he had it done and back to the garage in no time. Gearbox is being done at the moment, then mot…fingers crossed. :shock:

So guess I’ll have to wait till next time to venture into Essex to meet all you nice people.

cant make it, had the my bank card cloned the other day. It was used in canada and then 6 hours later on the other side of the world in zimbarbway or something… didnt take much but they have frozened my card and i cant filll the car up :frowning:
