Well its getting closer and again in typical style its me who is posting about this months meet due to the forgetfull nature of the person who is ment to be doing it   :stir:
Everyone should know the drill by now, but just in case the venue and address for the Meet is as follows:
Haywain Beefeater
High Road,
Fobbing,
Stanford Le Hope,
Essex SS17 9NR
Tel. 01268 554500
Fax. 01268 581752
Upon arriving at the Haywain please proceed to the very end of the access road and turn left, You will find everybody in this area of the car park where you will find loads of parking spaces.
Please be aware that there are speed bumps as you cross the car park, there are also big slabs of pavement too, just in case you feel like doing a ‘Solar1’ and drive over them!
I’m driving home (Holland) 2night so i won’t be there unfortunately.
Just got back from Rob who helped me get rid of the cat light (just had decatt fitted) and some little bits and bobs.
All fluids are topped up, tyres are checked, just used Rob’s fancy machine to check+inflate them to the same pressure so should be ready for my first proper roadtrip in the GTO now. 8)
Got safe on the other side, managed to do it on 1 tank of fluel as well, was really impressed with that.
Left UK at 23:00 so drove at night with barely any traffic doing around 90 mp/h on the uk roads and 80 - 85ish in France/Belgium and still managed to get here without fuel stops.
347 miles on 1 tank, where i normally get only 210 - 220 miles on a full tank at home so will impressed with that.
Long time no see. We last met at JAE, I had the Burgundy TT with vertical lift doors & a very sick engine / MAFT Pro setup. You spent time & patience on the damned thing & set me on the path to MAFT enlightenment!
Things have come on, but I’m not there yet, it’d be good to have you look my MAFT setup & listen to some more wise words oh Great Yoda!
Will Be there on Tuesday, Hopefully missing the pavement lol. Mike long time no hear , would be nice to see you and find out what you have done with your MAFT setting. I will bring the lap-top down and you can look at mine lol.
See you all soon
Cheers
Michael
