Something that amazes me is that as you get older, your eye-sight deteriorates, your reflexes and senses slow down but you are supposed to be a better driver !
O.k. i know about the experience thing and there is a time where it does count, i.e. an average 30 something will be more experienced than a spotty youth in his first motor but some of the old fogies are a ■■■■■■ hazard. Bear in mind that i’m no spring chicken but it still makes me wonder why somethings are not taken into consideration.

Mark.

I still rekon when ya get to 40 or somthing like that you should have to take another driving test

40 something!!!
Mere whippersnappers.
Always dangerous to generalize, about old or young.
I may be pushing 60 but I’ll take most of you on next time I do a track day.

I am sure there’s an insult in there somewhere. I am in such a good mood though so no problem-in fact I feel like singing.

Sky quote £466 with a lower excess.

Keith Michaels Insurance PLC

Speak to Jeremy Pocock 0208 642 7868

would give me a comparison, they did the Propane and unlimited mileage for £495.00

JC

Sounds good… but shouldn’t you have told them you were over 60?

40 was just a number that came to my head  , but i think there should be more tests , like with hgv driving etc

A track challenge always sounds good

2.0 to you

I will give Keith Michael a ring as well. The way I see it my actual age is irrelevant (SCOTT  ) but the comparisons are useful. If I remember Warwick Davis were around the £450.00 figure but that was a few months ago.

J

I bet you won’t be saying that when you hit forty something

Did Mark or Russ tell you about the van Russ saw yesterday outside the workshop?

Ah yes, we did have a chuckle. No kidding, it was marked up as ’ Mobile Maintenence for Old Boilers’. We didn’t realise that you were even booked in.
