I think everything pales into insignificance after what happened to Stevies car, but up to that point I think a good day was had by all, thanks to Neil ( Webbo & Missus ) Mike ( Miller ) for coming to show support & be chauffeured around Donnington race track by myself & Stevie, Hope there is more of a showing at the next one.
( Stevie & Tracie limping back to the pits for the last time )
( Mike & myself being pursued by a Cozzie, which i might add, we pulled away from on the bends )
( My free plug for the club )
(Mike & myself, cruising yet again, no sign of the Cozzie now !! )
thanks guys, ive had a think and decided that my gto will never go on that track!! i may however put the bm on if the road is dry, after seeing the old renault and the maestro any one can race anything there, a great day out just a big shame about stevies car, it will be a great shame to see it been broken up, can someone not arrange a wk end rebuild? stevie is a valued member of the club and is always there to help us folk as most of us have used his services!!
im sure there is a few that would love to help but we would need the services of the technical guys on here to get it fixed.
i know laverda was helped out recently by some of our members.
i know he is feeling down after what happened today not forgetting that this is also his runaround back at home during the week.
i just hope he wakes up tomorrow and decides to have it fixed.
Second one…stevie and julian in pit lane at same time, exit is staggered due to traffic. Julian catches up with the pack within two laps. Here you can see Steves engine problem manifest itself with the physical speed. There is evidence of blue smoke but very slight. keep your eyes peeled Stevie has concented to this video going public
