TRAX is the original and best car club and track event. It gets bigger every year and we’re promising that 2006 will be no exception. The heart of TRAX will once again be dominated by thousands of performance and modified-car clubs. Also on offer is the rare opportunity to master the world-famous Grand Prix circuit or test your car’s performance on the 0-60 sprint.
Expect a heaving trade area again this year, with some of the top traders in this industry offering fantastic deals that can only be found at TRAX.
In a calendar that offers so many car events, TRAX really stands out against the rest. Open to every make and model of performance and modified car, its reputation as a crowd-pleasing, car-filled extravaganza is richly deserved. Plus, a huge variety of trade and club stands makes this a show not to be missed.
Track Time
Thousands of cars will be attacking the Grand Prix circuit in non-stop track sessions, each lasting 15 minutes. Fully briefed beforehand by a professional instructor, once you hit the tarmac you’ll be ready to tackle Silverstone’s toughest curves. Go at your own pace with a choice of novice, intermediate and expert sessions.
Drift Demos
The arrival of drifting in the UK has set the sport’s popularity soaring. If you’re new to drifting or just want to sample the excitement, Driftworks will be running a series of demonstrations in dedicated sessions throughout the day. It also has a stand in the club area, so go and ask the experts your drift questions or check out their merchandise.
Fastest 0-60 times of the day
Newly improved timing equipment will ensure highly accurate results and we’ll be presenting prizes for the fastest times in three categories: front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive.
Check out the show guide on the day for more information.

Japfest is run by the same company, and I felt fairly safe on the track, however you only have to look at the sort of clubs who will be attending Trax to see loads of Saxos and Novas, and how many of them will be chavved up pricks all showing off on the track? I’d rather not I’m afraid!
Come on Mark (t9od) And deano7, we can go in convoy again
