I am arranging to go to Le Mans - hopefully as a group. We will leave on the Friday from Dover on the ferry at approx 07.45am and return either on the Sunday night or Monday - it’s up to you ! The cost for the package including the ferry, general admission and car parking and camping permit is £ 231.00 per person (for an additional £50 per car you can travel via Eurotunnel from Folkestone). At this stage I am trying to see who is interested as if we want to go, we need to pay the £ 50.00 deposit asap. Please let me know if you’re interested. Cheers. Michael

After a bit of digging around ( Thanks Justin ) we now have some prices that seem a lot better
Entrance Ticket Price - €62 each = £55 - http://ticket.lemans.org/vente2/visu_article_mini.php?id_produit=308&rubrique=66&id_boutique=66&id_univers=1&id_ev=25
On-Site Camping - €49 = £43 - http://ticket.lemans.org/vente2/visu_article_mini.php?id_produit=308&rubrique=66&id_boutique=66&id_univers=1&id_ev=25
Euro Tunnel - £88 - Assuming early morning Travel on Friday (01:20, 03:24, 05:48) & Monday (01:48, 04:47) - http://www.eurotunnel1.com/direct/booking/journey.asp?lang=en
I’m going to catch the Euro Tunnel train at 02:00am Friday so that will be the meeting point if any one whats to come
I’ve left the links to all the site so as you can book yourself’s and as you can see the price will be £196.00 +( £55-00 for second person ).
I think the only thing that needs booking asap would be the train as the prices go up after 05:48.
Well I hope this helps
Cheers
Michael
No problem Michael. At least there will be two of us going…
BTW the entrance tickets are available from http://ticket.lemans.org/vente2/visu_article_mini.php?id_univers=1&id_ev=25&id_boutique=63&id_rubrique=63
Right, I’m all booked and have received confirmation - roll on the 12th June… 8)
Ok I’ve book my tickets as well, going for the 01:20am (Friday) crossing from Folkestone to Calais and coming back on Monday 01:48am all via Euro Tunnel. Entrance tickets and camping / car parking via the links shown. So thats two of us - whats happened to the rest ? Come on Guys shift your asses this could be the best pissup of the year LOL
Time is running short on this one people - I personally can’t go as the car is still in pieces, but previous tales from similar trips have been great. Get there if you can!
My tickets arrived about three weeks ago.
This event is fantastic and unlike any other Racing Event I’ve experienced. I can’t recommend it enough…

Malc,
We’ve got General Admission tickets, these get you pretty much anywhere around the track. We will be camping on the Beausejour campsite, not far from the Porsche Curves.
