USC Santa Pod, 2-3rd August.

Drag strip open for run what ya brung, and many other shows and stuff. Handling curcuit also. For those disapointed by the noise restrictions at TOTB, there are none at Santa Pod (their in house jet car - Fireforce is powered by an old phantom fighter engine and you will be deaf for weeks!).

This event is not Jap only, although Japshow Finale and Rotorstock are, later in the year.

Usually a good weekend, plus it stands a chance of being the hottest day of the year according to the met office!

Yeah I might go to watch, but there is no way I will be running. It will be a nightmare there and you would be a lucky to get a single run.

I went to one of the RWYB days and would have been able to do 20 plus runs BUT it was not a big jap w/end.

Anyways cant make it guys as i will be load up the removal lorry :roll:

i am already going, i will be on a Ford stand with my bro, camping for the weekend!! we are going down on friday morning so hopefully get some runs out on friday may do one on sunday too if i like it!! :slight_smile:

hmmmm cossie vs 3000gt …now that would be interesting… :shock:

yes it will, he just put a big turbo on, bigger injectors and polish ported the head too, now running 25psi approx 350bhp so will be interesting hopefully both running on friday

Paul W has asked me to post up for him as he is away at this and can’t get on the boards.

Paul ran his GT yesterday and has posted a 12.4 @111mph!! 8) :smiley: :smiley: This was running the car at 12 psi.

I just wanted to say congratulations Paul, hugely well done mate!! I will try and get some more info today when he has run again.

he ran a 14.2 my best was 12.3 :slight_smile:
