Very sad day indeed

Well I moved to the UK nearly 5 years ago now and every once in a while I get a gentle reminder of what I have left behind in South Africa…Time to time i get the dreaded call to say someone close to me has departed.

Today was no better, I heard at 8:05 am this morning that my uncle, his wife and 15 year old daughter had all been shot in what appears to be a robbery. The daughter is having emergency operations as we speak although doctors are doubtfull that she will see the morning through. My uncle and aunt both died on the scene.

And i thought my day was bad when my GTO alarm would not work this morning…

*****Added at 6:30 pm 11/02/08, the 15 year old daughter has unfortunetly passed away this evening ********
