A while back i posted http://www.gtouk.org.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=38592&highlight=a topic here with loads of pictures of runs i do with the Pistonheads forum.
Now we’ve got something big coming up again at the end of this month, though it’s not a run/hoon like most other runs (meet somewhere at a starting point, and then all leave together).
It’s a breakfast meeting at Virginia Waters in Surrey (GU25 4QF).

However the most fun is in getting there, and though this is not a hoon there are several groups on PH (south coast, east anglia, kent/essex) who are creating their own convoys to get there.
Then once you get there you park up amongst the 100+ other exotic and sport cars present, have a chat, take some pictures, have some breakfast, and then enjoy a hoon back homewards.

Some info from the organisers :
*- Spoke to The Crown Estate (Car Park) Operations Manager, Nicholas Day, earlier who was happy to have his car park in use early on a sunday morning.

Car park is open at 7:30am on Sundays.

The car park attendants on the day will be informed of the meet and will be available to assist,

A section of the car park will be reserved for 180 cars on the day - less than 1/2 of the car park’s new capacity.

There is a new Bacon butty/coffee catering facility on site that normally opens at 10am on sundays. He will put in a request to the catering manager for an earlier opening time of 0830 for the meet
I advised there won’t be many of us left by 1100 from previous experience (Nov 2006), which he was happy about. It shouldn’t cause a problem if say 50 are still there then > cars in spaces = money in the ticket machines. *
So 180 cars is the limit, however so far “only” 103 cars signed up so that means there’s room for another 77 GTO’s :lol:
