WANTED: Red mk2 3000GT/GTO

Ok, so it’ll be payday in 3 days and with all the overtime i’ve been doing i should be getting a nice little amount to go towards my new car.

I’ve also just cashed my cheque of £ 1750, (2000 - 250 excess) which i got from the insurance when they wrote of mine.

Now i’ve had my eye on 2 cars, both 3000GT’s as i do really want a sunroof, and quiet like the leather as well, unfortunately both cars are gone now, one sold a few days ago and one sold today :

So what i’m looking for :

  • Red
  • MK 2
  • Sunroof
  • not to high milage.
  • preferably leather (3000GT)

So if anyone knows a good one somewhere, or one coming up for sale soon please let me know

Martyn

Thanks martyn, Im currently checking pistonheads, ebay and autotrader almost on a daily basis and seen both of them. First one doesn’t have a sunroof (and it 7K!) and 2nd one has a bit higher millage then i was looking for.

The quest continues lol… 8)

Wot about the Red one with 37,000 miles on it in Wigmore Staff. He may need a bank loan though.

I think we’d all jump at the chance if it was up for 4 figures Bob

Hi karim, put £5000 in my hand & take away my car its all that you require, colour, mk2, black leather, sunroof, number plate, & not messed with, well only good bits  ask rob about it

He wanted some pictures you got any?

Here’s another couple…

Cheers dude.

Shame neither of them have the sunroof as i do really want one.

Ah, of course. I forgot about the sunroof. I hope you’re not tall because that extra little bit less headroom really makes a difference. I was really quite suprised

Hmmm, good point. I never actually sat down in one with a sunroof. Maybe i should try that beforehand…

i have a little trouble with mine, but if i take out the liner that covers the sunroof there is loads of headroom
btw im 6’ 4" & i also somehow fit in my rx7 too

Mike

Good idea Mike, I might have to give that a go. There is noticably less head room than was in my GTO.

You’re more than welcome to come and try mine out for size whenever you like, plus you can have a look over the robo mod too

Thanks for the offer mate, shame it’s such a long walk to Gillingham… lol

Unless you going to one of the essex meets sometime soon ?

Well my 3000GT will be at the meet on Tuesday so you can have a sit in that one - its a little lower than the GTO without the electric sunroof

Good point  I’ll let you know if I do decide to do the Essex meet any time soon but Paul’s offer will probably be your best option
