Well most of you know that its unusual for us to miss a major meet and it looks like we missed a great event at Japfest.

The reason for our missing this was phone calls to the our Australian immigration agent.

Its not goodbye as yet but we have gained entry into Oz. So now as from tomorrow our business is up for sale. Our bogging off depends on this but in the current climate it could take along time to sell. Selling our house is not going to happen until we have lived there for a cpl of years, if we dont settle we need to come back to it, so thats up for rent.

A a member of this club for nearly 5 years and meeting and making some great friends I’m finding it difficult to write this as its another part of our life we are leaving behind.

Until a date is set me and Tracy will still continue with the Newsletter.

Seriously though, best move you could make - this country gets worse almost weekly. Anywhere else looks better at the moment.

Did you know that…

3 Aussies die each year testing if a 9v battery works on their tongue.

58 Aussies are injured each year by using sharp knives instead of screwdrivers.

31 Aussies have died since 1996 by watering their Christmas tree while the fairy lights were plugged in.

One of the nicest couples I have met. It will be a sad loss to GTOUK and indeed everyone that knows you both. Who the Hell else can I trust to refit some silver stripes?

I would love to move away to a better life, but have not the balls to even think about it. Good luck to you both. I know you have thought long and hard about it. Go for it and I am sure you will have a great life together over there. :wink:

Well what can we say, there are some really nice things said there :oops:

If the business don’t sell, then we will be staying in the UK.

Perth in WA is where we are aiming for and the car will be going with us :lol:

The second hand market is really high. What we would pay for here @ £500 would cost £1500 over there. Our cars over there cost a fortune, so its worth the cost of getting it over.
