Massive Thanks to Steve and Tracie for going above and beyond to help get my car going.
I joined the club and the help I have received has been amazing.
It really restores your faith in human nature.
Thanks once again .

Thank you @john3,
In order to help others who might have similar symptoms/problems, tell them the history of the issues.
It was good to meet you and your wife, along with the fact that we managed to fix the GTO. When we got there the first thing I did was to watch the boost gauge needed to see if it moved to half way mark when I turned on the ignition. No movement at all, so pulled a lead off and asked John to crank the engine over, no spark.
I had taken my HHH software and tried to log the car along with looking for fault codes. I could not get the software to connect to the ECU, that basically told me it was probably fubar.
Luckily I had taken mine with me knowing it was an early Mk 1, connected it and the car started to fire, it’s not been ran for a long while but eventually it ran better and after 5 mins it’s sounded totally sweet
It was a pleasure to help, as THIS is what GTOUK is all about.
