Why do all the good die young ;-(

Well I know its not news too any one on here (unless you knew Danny gooderson), Not looking for sympathy or condolences etc, just I though i would let the world know they are one very descent person less.

Today i found out yet another of my close friends has passed away tragically at a young age of 29. He was in theatre having surgery to his stomach after a car wreck 2 years ago. There were ‘complications’ during the op and he passed away.

He is very very sorely missed by me, his wife and kids and every single person who he ever had contact with. We grew up from a young age togeher and played Ice Hockey for South Africa together.

Saddest part of all is his wife has just fallen pregnant last month.

R.I.P Danny…you are VERY sorely missed buddy

This kind of news sometimes makes me wonder how there can be a god up there, freak accidents, children dying, the list goes on… when rapists and murderers live to to a ripe old age, we can only assume that there is something better awaiting us all and they have been chosen early because they are special, sounds a bit ar fetched I know, but who are we to assume we know everything.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Regards.

Tracie

Sorry to read this - a friend of mine has cancer and nearly died a couple of weeks ago, he’s still in hospital hence my not spending much time here recently. Thinking of you.

true tracie and i think we all know the answer to that one!!

too many good people are taken. my mate lost his son to cancer, he was 3 yrs old, i went to the funeral it was one of the worst days of my life listening to the music and seeing the flowers, teddies and the tiny coffin.
i have never been religous and never will be after that.
That poor boy had 18 months of medication which made him so poorly.
SAD NEWS INDEED.

Hope his wife is ok.

Thanks guys for your kind words…

My morning got better by getting the news that my Aunt passed away last night in her sleep. I have spent the day with a migraine the size of Russia.

Janey, i really feel for you. I could/should be a cancer expert as that is what has reduced my family to the size it is now. If you need to chat, drop me a PM. I lived with and looked after both my grand parents who died of cancer about 6 months apart. I also looked after my Brother in law who died of cystic fibrosis at the age of 16. My other aunt passed away a couple of years ago of cancer and 3 family members were murdered earlier this year…

all in all I’m have a ■■■■■■ marvelous time…

Thanks guys

Its always tragic whenever a young person dies unexpectedly but even when they are in a conflict situation it is still uspetting when they pass on.

I lost a friend in afghanistan this summer, Lance Corporal James Bateman. He too was only 29.
