sounds like a n/a spoiler to me

Thats my mk1 n/a. You will notice n/a has strip brake light in the spoiler as well.
Hope this helps

hmm also i noticed theres no cruise control, inside the engine bay on the right hand side theres usuall 2 boxes that guys tend to cover with bling lids ones small and the other bigger with several pipes coming out of it,that ones awol

Not quite sure why someone would put an na spoiler on a tt

They all have cruise control as far as i know, so must of been removed. As for spoiler, maybe boot or spoiler was replaced due to damage or bad paintwork. I think the spoilers often fade/peel.

just reading upon them now, apparently they have 11g tubs not 9’s or is that hear say,im sure the weight saving wont matter with my lardy posterior sat in it

the next 2 numbers after the Z15a are the year 00 94, 01 95, 02 96

the end numbers are the production number

Simon

The other main thing does it has plastic or Glass headlights

Painted Plastic or a cover under the glass

Simon

Front end is this simon

MR were like 100g lighter or something silly, quite a few of us have them, still the full fat turbo car just with out all the crap. Mine had plastic headlights but hard to tell from the picture.

Most had although could be added as an extra

No 4ws
No abs
No active exhaust
No active suspension
No cruise control
Different throttle cable
No active aero
Unique MR badge lol
Which means there are minor differences on the wiring loom
MRs use the same Spring set up as n/a’s (could be wrong on that one)

There are a some other small differences as well but can’t remember them all like brake ducts and things.

If you were to sit an MR and a normal full fat TT next to each other, cosmetically, apart from the aero, they would look the same.

Thanks gavin according to a thread on 3si the mr has 11b turbos not 9?

I have a tt MR 1997 with hoop spoiler and it’s fitted with 9b turbos as standard, if you check the turbo housings you should be able to tell very easily.

Ok mate cheers will do although i suspect there going to be 9b’s
